The message this week was about the Glory of God, and when we have been enlightened by the light of Christ and His glory is upon us we cannot help but to arise and shine as we reflect the love of Christ to those around us.

Nov 11, 2018The Way of PeaceSacrifice: We compare the differences in the temporary and the permanent in regards to sacrifice and peace with God. Jesus Christ in offering up His life and spilling his blood on the cross did so once for all. He was the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of the whole world which brings an eternal and everlasting peace with God. What Joy, Comfort and yes Peace we have in knowing Jesus has done it all, paid it all, and we are holy and righteous in God's sight because His blood covers us! May we always be bold in sharing the peace of Christ with all those we meet.

Nov 4, 2018God’s Blessed and Beloved ChildrenBeatitudes: they are not typos or mistakes, (which the world may think), but they need to be seen and understood through the lens of the Kingdom of Heaven. As SAINTS, as citizens of this Kingdom of Heaven, we are BLESSED for we are the poor in spirit, meek, pure in heart, merciful, those who mourn, peacemakers, and people who hunger and thirst for righteousness. We are truly blessed not because of anything we have done but because of everything Jesus has done for us!

Oct 28, 2018Abide in JesusJesus said, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples." Jesus wants you to listen to Him and trust in Him. Abiding is belonging. You belong to Him; you are no longer slaves to sin and unbelief but are free to follow Him as His disciples because you are His. Simply believe, not always so easy when we have all the noise of the world and our own selfish desires trying to drown out the Word of Christ. Yet that is the only voice worth listening to because Jesus frees us from slavery to sin that leads to death. And He offers us new life now and eternally simply by listening, believing, and abiding in Him.

Oct 21, 2018Sword of the LordWe cannot hide from God or lie to him, so as a default we tend to hide from ourselves, deceive ourselves, and lie to ourselves. The Word of God, however, slices and dices those attempts at self-justification and shows us for what we truly are: Sinners in need of God's mercy, grace and forgiveness, which He freely gives to us through His Word. The Word of God heals,restores and gives life to those who stop working at justifying their actions, stop being self-righteousness, stop their works and simply rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ our Lord. In Him alone, we find rest for our souls, both Today and for eternity.
