Mission and Outreach

St. Paul Lutheran – Pontiac

Dedicated volunteers from our congregation support the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pontiac.

The church was founded in 1946. The church, initially, was a Mission Outreach Congregation. Its primary focus was to bring more people to believe that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. They did this through Worship and Bible enrichment studies. They reached out to tell about Jesus through love and various programs in the local Pontiac community.

After being closed for approximately 10 years, the church was re-opened about 9 years ago as a Lutheran Mission Church, through the efforts of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, Michigan District and continues to service the community with the Word of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Pastor Dietrick Gladden is the current Shepard of the St. Paul Church Family.
